Week 8 Reflection

Hi All,
Week 8 carries some sad news to me, and probably to you too. The lesson we were asked to prepare meant we are about to finish this course. Isn't true that teacher colleges usually give lesson plan procedures and instructions just before the teacher trainees graduate? So does Donna.

I found ANVILL tools very useful for developing teaching materials easily. Voiceboards, TCasts, Quizzes and Software can make teaching more easier and motivating.

It's my first experience to post class instructions on a web-based technology. I found that very interesting, though I feel that class blog is far from being exhaustive.

Best,
Garri

  4. hi Garri,
You're absolutely right when you say that it is sad to finish this wonderful course. I really hope that we can keep in touch so that we can share experience in our teaching practice. These online tools have become really useful to me to promote autonomy learning in my students.
My best wishes for you my dear friend,
    Esteban mallqui.

  5. Hello Garri,

What amazes me most is that every week we actually check out new tools, and they were wonderful and very useful don't you think?
I can't wait to begin using this tools in my class, and tell my trainees and colleagues about them and about all of you wonderful people.
    Godspeed Garri

  6. Hello Garri,

You sound a bit sentimental. well, I understand because I feel the same while thinking we are about to end. On the other hand, we can transform the feelings of sadness into inspiration by continually doing the change we have started in our work stations.

All the best wishes for you,

    REBECCA

  7. I just wonder if there is (I may not know about it) any Oregon University program Alumni net which purpose is to strengthen the network between Alumni teachers worldwide through workshops, a newsletter, and involvement with other professional organizations both in the USA and in the world.
It would be great if we could start one, wouldn't it?

  8. That's actually a great idea Olena. May be Donna could be more informed about that kind of network and inform as as well. Otherwise, it would not be a good thing to make the end of this course the end of our communication.

Hope to not let it go

  9. Hi Richard and Garri,
Later this week we shall have an evaluation form on the program work. If there is a possibility to note there about our wish to organize Alumni net- we could note it there. If not in the evaluation form- we have the task to write about our plans after the course is over- let us note it in our posts with the reference to the Oregon University to support our initiative.
