Week 7 Reflection

Hi All

Many technology-based materials for enhancing teaching are now also at hand. Learner autonomy, one-computer class and finding a partner are the 'headlines' of this week.

Learner autonomy links are assets for me. They forwarded new definitions, more relevant ones, to those I used to know. Preparing a lesson  for one-computer class is also another merit I gained in Week 7. I found it the most useful part because it closely touched areas and special needs I always strive to meet.

Elsewhere, I found Week 7 much more lighter, both in content and burden.

    Hi Garri,
    I agree that week 7 is stuffed with very useful things we can use in the classroom and outside it. I am also interested in one-computer classroom because most of the classrooms I work in have only one computer. Getting new ideas is something teachers strive for and using them is my favourite part.

    I agree learning autonomy is important to give students ability to use the language freely without limitations. And for the one class computer , I use this technique and t helps me a lot in facilitating the lesson to make it more interesting .

    I agree with you that Learning autonomy is very important because in this way our students become more responsible of their own Learning Process. It's also imporatnt the many activities we can promote in class with only one computer.

    Hi GArri,
    I also liked the learner autonomy topic and all the comments made on it.An automous learner is that that one who will be really fruitful once outside the the academic milieu. Doind other that making our learner autonomous in their learning process, I believe, is a way of creating irresponsible people and this should be fought against. Anyway, I guess we are in the same group in our project. Isn't it?You, Letty and I. I hope we will make wonderful match and thanks.

    Hi Garri,

    you are right on the comment that this week seemed lighter. I also liked the tasks this week and the reading shed some light to my perspectives on autonomy both from the learners and the teachers.

    I also thank you for accepting being my partner for the final project.
